Classification & Application:
According to the rim form, crane wheels can be divided into three types: double rim wheels, single rim wheels and no rim wheels. The role of the rim is to guide and prevent the car body from derailing.
Usually, the wheel of a large car adopts a double-rim wheel with a height of 25-30mm; the wheel of a small car adopts a single-rim wheel with a height of 20-25mm; a wheel without a rim can only be used in the decoration with horizontal guide wheels on both sides of the wheel.
Crane wheels can be divided into three types according to the tread content: cylindrical, conical and conical drum.
Cylindrical wheels are mostly used for driven wheels and can also be used for driving wheels. Conical wheels are used as drive wheels for crane trolleys.
The taper of the conical drum wheel tread is usually 1:10. When installing, install the large diameter end of the wheel on the inner side of the span and install it with a positive cone method, which makes the operation sturdy and the automatic straightening effect is good.
Conical drum wheel treads are arc-shaped, mainly used for electric hoist suspension trolleys and circular rail cranes to eliminate additional resistance and wear. Cracks appear on the rim and spokes before the wheel is scrapped.
